The Land of Saint Hubert
In the heart of a vast forest this is an ideal location for "green" tourism.
Three localities set in large clearings of the Ardennes forest add an interesting architectural heritage to the many outdoor activities available. These are Saint-Hubert, Libramont and Tenneville.
Saint-Hubert is the "European capital of hunting and nature".

This place, which is the hunters' assembly point, is also the centre of excursions and tourist walks through the legendary forest of Saint Hubert, one of the two major forests of the Ardennes.

This historical city and its monks gave its name to the famous "Bloodhound" dogs introduced in the UK by William the Conquérant.
Abbey Founded in the 7th century by Plectrude, altered in 1729, this abbey now houses the cultural and crafts departments, meeting and exhibition rooms.
To be seen behind the abbey: the lime tree courtyard.
th century Basilica Flamboyant Gothic apse (1526 - 1564), Baroque facade (1700-1702), Norman crypt (1064); stalls dedicated to Saint Benoît and Saint Hubert; mausoleum donated by Léopold Ier. Altar dedicated to famous Saint Hubert.
